Hoping everyone in tornado areas stay safe! Unlikely, or should I say unlucky if we were to ever have a tornado, but we did get one just outside Boston in late July 2014 at 9:30am! Was EF2 with 120 mph winds...didn't even know what was happening with such heavy rain & wind, & then was barely able to see my trees starting to fall down through the rain I knew something was wrong. Tried to grab my dog to get downstairs but he would not let me pick him up, rain was pushing in windows between windows & frames, heard things hitting house. It was horrible and I feel very badly for anyone that lives with this threat all the time. Never showed on radar because they said it was in between radar loops or something like that, and they said it was rain wrapped so we could not see it like the ones out west. Like I said, a tornado just outside Boston was unlikely, but that was our unlucky day! I'll take a blizzard over that any day! Stay safe everyone!
