I don't use the Keurig much. I am not a coffee drinker but use it mostly for hot chocolate. (I prefer a popular tea with tea bags).

So anyway, I put in the pod holder (b/c DH uses the ground coffee holder lately). I filled the Keurig with water. I turned on the power button. Once it was heated I pushed down the lid/hit medium mug. I waited and waited. Nothing! I went through 3 pods turning it off and restarting/trying again.

I thought it was broke.

So my husband comes out puts in the ground coffee holder and ground coffee and makes a huge mug of coffee in no time! lol.

I'm like WHAT?

So then he waits a bit changes it to the pod holder for pods, and makes me hot chocolate in minutes.

Again WHAT?

This is the 2nd time this happened. Before it happened when my grandkids and I were trying to make hot chocolate and he used it that day and it worked then too.

I think our Keurig doesn't like me. HAHAHA.

Keep the lid in the down position while you fill the water reservoir and/or are waiting for the machine to ""ready"" itself.

It operates on it's own peculiar step-by-step method. You were one step ahead of it.

After it heats up, lift the pod lid, put the pod in, close it and then pick what size you want. It should be good to go.

Ok thanks I will try that tomorrow. But I think he did it that way. (Not 100% sure though, I could be wrong). Ill let you know if it works tomorrow.

Oh wait our Keurig has the side water container. Not the top. So you place the water in it first.

Why not have your DH give you a ""show and tell"" demonstration.
