Had to Put Teddy my cat

down on Tuesday, and have been in a slump since. I was away with him most of the summer where I wasn't feeling well either, low hemoglobin, calcium etc. and Teddy couldn't stop drinking water and using his litter box. Well took him to vet and he had diabetes and was going to be l6. The vet agreed that there was no guarantee he would get better, so I had to make the decision since he was my Mom's cat and before she passed she told me to look after him and take care of him which I did. He was starting to suffer, not eating, and well I know he is now with my mom and dad. Just hope he will be at rainbow bridge when I leave this world along with all my other kitties. Its just hard since I think he is going to come to me and then reality sets in. take care tawny
