@Love my grandkids  funny post, love it !  and by the way "sammich" is a term I am very familiar with Woman Very Happy

I've not heard of putting grapes in tuna salad but I love grapes in chicken salad YUM !

I've been eating the same breakfast every morning for the past

1 1/2 years to lose weight and be able to stay off diabetes meds and it's been very successful. I have a piece of whole grain toast, 3 jimmy dean turkey breakfast sausages and 2 apple slices. That's my breakfast "sammich" Woman LOL

Breakfasts for me is mashed avocados on whole wheat toast, sometimes w/ a poached egg on top. I sometimes will do Greek yogurt w/ granola on top, but I'm not a big fan of cold foods in the morning. Give me oatmeal, eggs, etc. and plenty of coffee to start my day!

Decided to use some tuna salad I had made and have a yummy sandwich and some seedless green grapes. My sammich (as we sometimes say in my family) was sooo good! Great way to start the day.

EDITED TO ADD: I had the grapes on side, NOT in the tuna. Ew!

@Love my grandkids Don't knock it until you've tried it!  One of our favorite tuna salads is apply pieces, celery and walnuts, (onion optional!) with a little mayo in the mix.  It is wonderful!

We have also added: grapes, orange pieces, dried cranberries or blueberries or raisins or cherries, pumpkin seeds, pecans, and other things I can't think of.  Some of those we like better eating the salad just with crackers on the side not in a sandwich,

Green grapes MAKE tuna and chicken salad!!!...Red are OK too.

They make it JUICY!

And if I have some nuts...almonds or walnuts, pecans...I rough chop a few and add with the grapes.

SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!!

I just have to remember to buy them....if fact, I just added them to my shopping list cause I'm making an oven stuffer roaster soon and the ONLY way I like white meat from Chicken or turkey is in salad...

Thanks for the reminder!

Exactly.  Grapes are fabulous right in the salad.

@GingerPeach  my sister makes her salad that way. She says it's delicious but I just can't do it.  She uses red grapes.

I too like grapes but don't get them often as not many stores carry organic and I've read grapes are one of the fruits with high pesticide residue. Can you get organic grapes (and other produce) where you live?

@KKJ Yes but they aren't in stock right now. I wash my fruit and have never had any problems.

@Sooner Actually I have tried it and it just isn't my cup of tea! But I've had chicken salad with grapes in it and I liked it just fine.

Re: Had An Excellent Breakfast Today!

Someone pass me some smelling salts to keep me from fainting!  A tuna salad sandwich is just about my favorite food in the world, but grapes?  apples?  nuts?  ..... oh no, I'm feeling faint again.  LOL

Nothing but tuna, mayo and celery for me.  Ok, a little red onion works.
