Just a heads up for anyone who swiped a card there. I know some locations were in Ohio, but not sure if other states were affected.

Many more were affected than they originally thought, and Wendy's is offering one year of credit protection for those who's information was taken.

Seems this is just a standard occurrence these days.

I haven't been to Wendy's for over a year now...I feel bad for folks who were affected.  It's such an unnerving ordeal to experience and go through:/

          Thanks for posting this, @Mominohio.  And thanks for the followup info @JustJazzmom.   I haven't been to a Wendy's in a long time, but just last week we had a notice of card skimmers found on the gas pumps at the gas station around the corner from where I live.

          It is a common occurrence, unfortunately.   These threads are good to keep us aware and careful.

There is one very near me and I frequently pick up salads there.  As far as I can tell, it is one that was hacked.

So do I.  I can't imagine anybody using a card for fast food.  Totally ridiculous.
