HSN's TS Samsung Wi-Fi tracfone?

I've never owned a tracfone, but my Verizon contract will be up next month. I've been considering buying a tracfone, and this looks like a really good deal, but I dont know anything about that particular phone or how tracfones work, using the internet in particular.

This phone has 3G, free wi-fi, triple minutes for life, and it comes with 1500 minutes free. I understand you are not using any minutes while using the internet if you are using wi-fi, but does anybody know how many minutes you are using when using the 3G?

Has anyone else seen the presentation, and is anyone purchasing this? Thanks!
