I've given a 1 star review and it was posted.

I always use the Sort and see the negative reviews first and then sort to see most recent reviews on any website.

No company in business today wants to have negative things said about their products. But, I feel they have to take the good with the bad in order to be fair to their customers.

it isnt "hidden".....they have a default on their search to sort from ratings high-low reviews. if you want to change it, it can be changed to ratings low-high, date high-low or low-high, and helpful high-low or low-high.

Exactly what I said. But they usually start with giving us the ones they want to show first.

I do the same thing, Spindlegirl. I always want to see the people who reported issues and then make up my mind. I tend to trust those more than the positive ones. And it is pretty easy to tell if there are people who had "user" issues or didn't read directions, etc. I think HSN has been pretty good about posting low ones.

the hsn system for reviews is so much better and reliable than the QVC system. at qvc they allow people who have not even purchased the item to do a review and i think they do a lot more censoring.

Your right...HSN won't even let you give a review till you've had the product for a week.. I believe.
Here they'll let anyone post a review which is hilarious when you read a rave review and then the reviewer adds, "I can't wait to get mine".

I was reading reviews of a Joan Rivers pin. All were 4 or 5 stars except one so I read it. It was a bad review because the person didn't buy the pin because she thought the price was too high ......
