I watched most the day and have to say--it was a very nice break. I used to be a big crafter/sewer. Now days my fingers are not working well from months of chemo  years ago--small motor skills not working. But I did order a set of sparkle pastes that you smear overtop of stencils from Crafters Companion--comes with stencils too. I have alot of small canvases the I thought to use for this. Use to do alot of stenciling and did use a compound that was like wall texture or stucco. Did that on clay pots.

Re: HSN craft day--on Tuesday

I admit to watching sporadically on these days. It seems that the majority of the shows are for card making and I can't imagine how many paper cards one could make year in and year out unless people are doing it for 'fun' and have money to spend. I personally send out electronic ecards and a paper one only to my Mother.

There are so many crafts out in the marketplace and it's a shame HSN doesn't incorporate them into these special days.

Back in my photo album/scrapbook days I loved these shows! Great for supplies and also for great ideas. I still have a box of supplies in the closet!

Re: HSN craft day--on Tuesday

@Xivambala --yes, I agree. Did you ever know or watch--in the very early days of QVC---that there were many crafting days that included so many more types of crafts. That's when scrape- booking was a thing. There were shows on TV on crafting too. Carol Duvall was one of the shows. I am not a card maker or scrapbooker--just don't have the imagination for all that. I tried it but it drove me crazy. My ex SIL and niece were big time into it all tho--and that was fun to go thru her craft room with her many supplies. I know on some craft days on HSN , there are sewing machines as a TS. I am a sewer. But still, it was kind of fun to watch.

Re: HSN craft day--on Tuesday

Yes, I did watch off and on.  I make my Christmas, birthday and anniversary cards that I send out.  Checking to see if there was anything new for me.   Early on with my crafting, would not miss HSN when they had craft day.  Now, I have just about all I want.  Still nice to watch.
