She was on with Helen K and she could barely talk.  When the TSV came on she was then alone, no Helen, and you could not even make out what she was saying.  Sounded like she had laryngitis.  I felt awful for her.

Earlier before the TS she and Helen hosted a rather lively NYE special, it was a lot of fun, but she could not really talk, I thought for sure Helen would take over on the new TS and let Michelle go home.

Lost my interest in watching what was Nakery special at midnight,could hardly understand what Michelle Yarn was saying.

You think they would had someone fill in for her as she was on before midnight with Helen and she could hadly talk .

Understand it was NYE and guess no other host wanted to come in.

Think Liz  the vendor could had done the show by herself as she is very professional and send Michelle home.

I'm sure HSN was not trying to gross viewers out or be insensitive to ailing Michelle.  Both HSN and QVC are on extremely light host availabilities these two weeks around Christmas and the New Year.  Schedules are set months in advance.  They most likely just didn't have anyone else around to step in.

Look at QVC.  If Mary Beth Roe got sick I don't know who could have stepped in, since she seemed to be covering multiple hosts' schedules this popular vacation time.

I watched and thought the same thing when I saw Michelle present the new TS.  She did make the comment that she had no idea what was wrong with her voice because she felt fine.

During the "party show" there was a close up of Liz and with that weird lighting, she looked TERRIBLE.  Her face was lumpy and her one eye looked droopy.  It was not a good look for her at all.  

I guess there is a lot to be said for smoke and mirrors  lol.

I really like Michelle as a host.
