HSN Spendable Cash - Be Careful!

I bought the Andrew Lessman Today's Special last week and totally forgot they said there would be spendable cash. I received the shipment yesterday, and there was no coupon. Watching today they are mentioning spendable cash again, and I remembered I had not received anything, and there was nothing in my account. I called today and they said it would be posted 7/30 "on this product." I'm not sure what that means, but I guess you have to be sure to follow up and make sure they make good on what they've promised! I ordered 3 sets of pillows today, that's $30, you can bet I won't forget this time!

I wouldn't like to have to call and remind a company that they owe me something that they promised.... I have had to do that in the past and quit using that company.

I will give you an example.... I used to have a certain credit card that promised to refund me back a small % at the end of the year. The year ended and no refund; I called them and they said it was coming.... it took several months and I told them that they got their payments on time and I should get my rebate on time. After I got the rebate I cancelled my card; it was fraud, IMO.

During the presentations they gave the date. I am sure you will get the credit on the date specified. They want to make sure the product is delivered to everyone before issuing the accounts. Spendable cash is a credit to your account, not a coupon.

Thanks, my point was that I barely remembered that I was supposed to get it, definitely not a specific date - they just kept pushing the spendable cash. Kind of a silly promotion if each vendor makes their own rules - you would think the SC would be posted upon shipment. And I just heard that Joy's SC WILL be by coupon when the pillows are delivered and only for another of HER products - so there you go - each vendor is different, difficult to keep track if it's not done automatically.

The AL TSV stated on the description when the Kash would be posted. Don't know if they said it on air or not. When I ordered online, there was a red box to click on. That's where it said when it would be posted. I got my 10 dollars the day they said I would.

for the pillows today i dont think that they are giving you spendable cash. i think they are giving you a gift certificate for $10 to use towards another joy mangano purchase.

I think the lesson is that we all need to pay close attention to the presentations when any sort of rebate is mentioned.

I watched the presentation multiple times, and each time a date was mentioned; however, as most of us tend to multitask, it is easy to let specifics slip by.

(This is not me being snarky or insulting to any poster -- this is just a reminder that we all need to pay more attention when it regards this sort of promotion.)

I bought the Healthy Hair, Skin, and Nails and my Spendable Cash was in my account on July 24th as promised and when I went to the HSN site I was notified that it was there. I used it yesterday along with a free shipping coupon that I won and purchased some Korres.

You're correct. It is not spendable cash. It's a coupon for $10 off any JM product.
