Re: HSN'S Alice In WonderLand

The prices for some of the items were outrageous, and to be fair some of the items were down right ugly! 259.00 for a purse with all these different color tassels, or pom poms, not for me!

The jewelry was kind of gaudy and over the top, 199.00 for costume rings, bracelets and necklaces, nope I wouldn't ware that either but thats my taste. For those who love the whimsy and unusual enjoy.

The 1st movie will be on tv soon -- possibly TNT? I may record it.

The Urban Decay lipsticks are selling out fast on UD site and Ulta. The B&M store of Ulta I tested out the lipstick Mad Hatter using Q Tips and it is not as dark as the tube itself shows. The other lipstick I saw was Mirana and at Macy's they didn't get that color in but the salesperson told me its similar to UD Revolution Shame color except one has shimmer and one is a matte-- I forget which one is matte vs. shimmer.

I've never gotten into any of these themed movie events HSN does this for.  It doesn't interest me at all.

But not all the items they are presenting are over the top or specifically tied to Alice Through the Looking Glass.  Today's TS pants from Guiliana Rancic are just pants.

Speaking of lipstick, I like the colors developed for the Alice line, my daughter got one, I got the polish.

And they have the Urban Decay Alice box of shadows, free S&H on it all:

Mirana, the one on the far right:

I like the older UD Alice in Wonderland MUCH better- both the box design and the colors of the shadows. I saw the new one in person and there are so many colors I would never wear, even though I am pretty adventurous with my shadows at times. They just aren't pretty nor would they look good on me.

@Noel7 Well. I caved in and bought the eye shadow pallette. Should not have watched the presentation. Don't need it, but I love UD, and this looks fab!!

Hi @Reba055   Smiley Happy

I love Urban Decay!  I have the Naked and Smokey palettes and my daughter has the one you just ordered.  Just the box itself is gorgeous, and just look at that construction, the butterfly pops up when you open it.  I really like it.

I hope you enjoy it, and the colors are pretty, done to match the dominant shades used in the new movie.

I AGREE. Heidi Daus's jewelry is SO gaudy and expensive.

It seems most of our stores have sold out.  We were lucky to find a stash on hsn.  I think the Mirana is matte, my daughter likes those lately.

Thanks for the pic of the first Alice shadows, I hadn't seen them before.

I love the new box colors but I don't get that colorful for myself.  My daughter is young and can pull it off easily Smiley Happy

I did like the OPI Polishes I saw presented last night but I didn't buy them.

Nothing of interest to me as I'm working on getting rid of stuff rather than acquiring.  As an observation, I'd say quite the marketing strategy.  They'll laugh all the way to the bank just like they did with all the Frozen promotions.
