I may be wrong, but so far in PA all I have seen are unfamiliar models, none from FL or even from the Q. Maybe some of the models are still making the move to PA, maybe none of them are moving. just my observation so far.

Models work & come from an agency (Model Agency).  HSN will hire from a Pa agency if they need to.

It appears they have already done that, so far I have seen all newbies.

Models usually work for an agency that manages their career.

These are "gig" jobs, not permanent employment with an invidudual corporation.

I doubt any of the models from HSN will move to PA.  They don't work for HSN.  I will miss Kenya and Ingabord (sp??)

@Shelbelle. It doesn't make sense that they'd pay for models to relocate when they're available in virtually every city in America.  It's not a highly skilled job.  It's also probably not economically feasible for the models since they'd be at the lower end of the pay scale.

Some of the HSN models have been there 30 years or more, so I was thinking they may be HSN employees.

I know QVC uses the Reinhard, and Joy Modeling agencies.  In fact, they may use others too.  Katia Biassou, our beautiful QVC model, has been training the new models.  She posted a video on Instagram showing many new models in an empty studio, being trained. Some appear to be very used to modeling clothes, while others seem to be beginners.

All models get scale.  Some make more.  But basically all models are paid same fees for the area. Obviously models doing same job in New York or California get more than one in PA, etc.  there ar edifferent jobs, each with own pay. Fit model, runway, print model, etc. There are exclusives, where models work with one designer, or vendor. They get paid more. Many fees are flat fees, not hourly.. then the Agent or Agency gets their 20 % or more .

there are junior models who need so many jobs or hours to work up. They can be on a slightly lower pay scale. Maybe some of the reg models are on vacay, or big jobs. Busy time of year

Yes, Kenya was my favorite, and I know she was Marla Wynn's too.
