Has finally been updated, at least for now. Still shows Michelle and Lynn, and none of the newer ones. But the ones who didnt make the move are now eliminated, makes me sad.

I would think the move from FL to PA is a large one.  I wouldn't move for sure unless the pay was very well worth it.

Frankly, I'm surprised anyone would move.

I would agree to a certain extent, I dont know if it is ever a good idea to move for a job until you know for sure the job is working out permanently, I would think the ones that moved are secure in their jobs. I think some are still in PA in temporary housing.

Re: HSN Hosts Page

I agree that if you're not near retirement age the decision to relocate was a wise one.

Alternative career opportunities for television shopping hosts are likely limited in Florida.  Sure, there may be something on a local TV channel,  but the competition is likely fierce.

Their career, not just the current job, is on-air talent.  Highly visible and lucrative positions don't come around often.  The hosts that moved are very smart to do so.  That's especially the case if they are nowhere ready to retire, or have children/spouse that can also readily relocate.

We see some of the HSN brand reps also moving and becoming hosts.  Tells you something about the opportunity and that there's more to life than Florida.

I wish the hosts well in their move.

Glad someone wants to move since half the world seems to live down here. Smiley Happy

I would bet they were welll compinsated for such a move.  Many of them are young and have young families...not an easy thing to do unless it was worthi it financialy.
