The Q has 25 hosts, HSN has far fewer, so as contracts come up for renewal, I suspect more hosts will be disappearing.

When they announced the forums were closing many customers left and not all returned when the decision was reversed.

It seems those making decisions assume that replacing older hosts with younger hosts, will bring younger customers to replace the older lost customers. I don't see that happening.

While I never watched Shannon Smith very much, I'm dismayed to know that Shannon Fox and Lesley Marcado (sp?) are also gone.  They were probably my two favorite HSN hosts.  Lesley has such a lovely voice.

@Krimpette @I think her last name is Machado. I had never heard of her until this thread, so I googled her and google told me how she spells her name. I had never heard of Shannon Fox either.

@Mindy D Thanks so much!  I was drawing a blank when I wrote that.  I should be ashamed, since she was probably my favorite!!!!!

@Krimpette @There's nothing to be ashamed of. I didn't even know who she was.

@occasionalrain

Many POSTERS left when they threatened to close the forums and did not return.

That doesn't mean they don't still shop.

We would have NO way to know that.

The only thing we can say factual is that they took their 'social media-ing' elsewhere.  Is that a word?   LOL

We have all seen the 'I will never shop here again' posts....only to see them prove later that was just an empty threat.

I am surprised they let Shannon Smith & Lesley go. Lesley was well liked and had a very cheerful personality. Shannon could pretty much sell anything & hosted a lot of Andrew Lessman shows. Andrew only worked with some hosts & I was of the assumption that it was with the ones who brought in sales.

In the end, it always works out for the better. Sometimes we need that nudge to explore our true potential.

Teddixat, I would have guessed Lynn, too. She has been there 30 years, how I don't know. She is unwatchable for me. Helen is the only host on HSN left that I will watch. I find her very articulate and funny. We all have different tastes in hosts. I will definitely be cutting back on purchases as HSN is no longer enjoyable to watch. Fortunately, I can shop locally.
