I believe that there was a misunderstanding. I have always found the customer service to be top notch and they have also held up their end of the bargain with free exchanges.

Warning, my Bearpaws split across the sole from side to side. Won't order again.   

Exchanges are free if the product is available. If not they will charge return shipping.
