@Sapphiregal Is it due to being a dormant account perhaps?

A few years ago SHQ closed my SHQ CC for lack of use, I had to apply for a new one. Synchrony Bank.

If you never received the letter advising you of your high return rate, I would think they would have sent you a final letter advising the account was closed. Maybe they were averaging the items you bought versus your returns. Even if you didn't buy alot but your return percentage was high that is their choice. Can you still view your order history and see what you returned?
I really like HSN and never had a problem. I purchase Andrew Lessman vitamins and a few beauty items. Their shipping is fast and I think their pricing is good for what I bought.

Can't you just open a new account?

I would definitely send a letter and ask why your account was closed. It must be for some reason and for your peace of mind, you deserve to know why. Hopefully you weren't hacked or something like that.

Synchrony Bank. That's the one that charged me 25.00 each month (till I got wise) saying my payment was late-except it wasn't. I made sure to mail it 10 days before due date and the address wasn't that far away. I closed my Q Card. I don't know if they still use those robbers.

I don't own any CC that is entitled to any Shopping Channel. I don't have the QVC CC, etc. None. I don't even shop from HSN. Never ordered from them. I just used my regular Chase CC when shopping.

From what I read @Sapphiregal is talking about her Shopping account with HSN not her CC account. She said that she was told that a letter was sent on Feb 16th of last year stating that it would be closed because of excessive returns.
Over the years a few Posters have said that this has happened to them also with QVC. I always wondered if after a certain amount of time has passed if they are then allowed to shop, say like a year later.
Opening a new account with the same address will be a problem but if I were @Sapphiregal and I still wanted to shop there I would ask if after a year (which will be soon) would I be able to do so.

Before going ballistic, try to consider a few possibilities. Recheck your email. I don't believe they would just up and close your account without some kind of reason or notice. By chance, have you gotten a new credit card and neglected to update your payment info?
Here's what just happened to me with QVC. On January 1 or 2, I was contacted by my CC company regarding some suspicious charges made online and some in person in the eastern part of the country (nowhere near where I live). I talked with the company CSR and we went over all the charges, to put them in dispute status. I mistakenly included one from QVC. I realized it a few days later, but the dispute was already in the pipeline and couldn't be stopped. In the meantime, I received a new card so that part is fine, but that one small charge was denied and charged back to QVC. This past Friday I couldn't log into my account. I thought it was a website issue and tried to change my password. It wouldn't take. I ended up calling CS. The rep couldn't specifically identify the issue, for security purposes, but she asked certain questions and suggested I check my email. When I did, I discovered the dispute info and she explained that yes, the charge reversal was the reason. I couldn't shop over the weekend but was able to get through this morning and have them resubmit the charge on my new card. Within a couple of minutes the CSR restored my account.
