Wow! Very interesting! I normally don't see too much of this on HSN. QVC, yes! But rarely on HSN....I think the vendors and hosts on HSN work very well together...I do think however, the hosts on HSN give their vendors much more of a chance to explain and talk about their products. On QVC, it seems that the hosts want to do all of the talking while the vendor just stands there. There seems to be a problem balancing with QVC.

I must say I agree with what he wrote, amybe the tone wasn't the best, and it did kind of come off as condescending, but I felt he hit the points very well.

Should be very interesting as to what changes we will see going forward......

I thought Bill still worked for H, I had read somewhere that he does "guest training", and also does some guest hosting.

he does still work for HSN. he recently began as the permanent guest host for their SEVILLA JEWELRY line.

The vender who represents David's Cookies used to be on HSN and she was so over the top there. She was loud, talked over the hosts and always did the hard sell. Very very hyper. I cringed when she came to QVC expecting the same antics. But on QVC she is more calm and lets the hosts speak and does not try to over take the presentation. So I am assuming QVC has stricter guidelines.
