Love good rainy days. It doesn't rain enough in Arizona so it's special here. Most people enjoy the rain and cooler temperatures. We get sick of day after day of sunny 100 degree plus days for months and months.

@ahoymateso rude. Lots of people are struggling during time and weather plays into it. Weather is a huge mood booster and if your only fun that day is getting out rain puts a damper on that.
If you live alone the only person you see is you, yourself and I.
@gemcd Reading, tv, phone calls, pet time, computer games.

It all depends on how many rainy days in a row or timeframe. If it's a quickie, I sing to my dog about being inside all "safe and warm and dry." Then I read in my chair while she sleeps on the sofa being Cozy Mosey.

I'm different than most people, I don't mind rain.
It's hard for me to adjust to climes that don't get rain steadily.
It helps to wash away the dust, the dirt, the pollen.
Trees, shrubs and flowers look truly thankful after a nice rainfall.
Try to think of the positives of rain, it helps the crops grow and the farmers can give their water reserves a break.

@ahoymate It's not grumpy and it's not being a hater, sounds like that it is projection on your part.

I am very much tuned to the environment. The negative ions when it rains have a negative effect on me. I get very down. I want chocolate and to sleep.
I prefer the sun to shine and I feel like "Tigger"!!!![]()

@Meowingkitty You can say that again!!! We haven't had the evening "gully-washers" since 1999. di

I get it and do love sunshine. My sis has SAD - seasonal affective disorder. So much that she takes a vacation to the beach 2 weeks each February. It's real for many people. I use the time to recharge. Guard your thoughts so you don't go down the rabbit hole. Be kind to yourself. What is it Annie sang? The sun will come out - tomorrow. And it does. Take care.

Since that is all we have been having lately (rain) I turn on my electric fireplace, turn the heat off so it is just the "fake" flames, grab a comfy throw and sit on my recliner and either I read a good book or have Alexa read to me or play music.

I am never isolated alone. We have had pets in our homes since the early 1970's, and pets at times, can be better than human company.
Before the virus my wife would be gone Pet Sitting, at times, for over 3 weeks. Pets are still here and cloudy/sun shining/raining or snowing, has no effect on how I feel.
Hope for more sunny days for you. ☀️
