Like the way OK Boomer triggered so much angst here recently, right, @stevieb ?
Or are things only funny if they are making fun of somebody else?
I am a boomer and I think OK Boomer is funny.
@Ms tyrion2 DId I say anything was funny? Did I say anything was acceptable or not acceptable? No, I didn't. I merely expressed my perspective that it seems as though there are some who want to make a federal freaking case out of anything and everything that gets posted, no matter how ultimately frivolous it might be. Day in and day out there are posts on these boards about things that happen and then a glut of responses about what an angry society we have become. Well, when everything becomes a matter for ruffled feathers, when senses of humor become so proscribed and when good natured teasing becomes confused with bullying, harsh criticism and 'making fun' then I guess it isn't so hard to understand why there are so many angry people out there... It seems that pretty much every generation thinks they wrote the book on 'right and proper' and point to subsequent generations as being the 'downfall' of humanity... Anyone with their wits about them takes it all with a grain of salt...
@stevieb Couldn't stop laughing at your well-composed, well-contained and right-on-the-mark comment...it is truly amazing some of the sensitiveness and thin-skinned remarks when posters are having fun with certain topics and going down memory lane! I was born at the end of the "silent generation" so where are those jokes ladies, I am waiting for some good laughs!

@wildcat fan For signing legal documents they have you print your name, and annicial, and them sign in cursive. When I was in grade school it was just call handwriting. The first time I heard the word cursive I had no idea what that meant.

So funny I am still laughing, my millenial DD (I need her to help me sometimes) she gives me a look like what??? mostly cell phone stuff. She needs me, she got a townhouse 2 1/2yrs ago 6 months ago mortgages went down told her to refinance the mortgage she has no idea what refinance means. Saved her $200 month doing this. So guess we need eachother.

And just what do you mean by a beautiful day... Huh... How do you define that... Huh... I mean what kind of crack is that, anyway... Please, don't marginalize ANY day simply because you don't find it beautiful...
