My feet are not the least bit funny .... they just have no sense of humor. ![]()

By the luck of the dice, thank goodness my feet take after my dad's -- he had beautiful feet, like male foot model feet. My older sister's feet take after my mother's -- they can make small children cry!

I have awful ugly feet. However, my DH has pretty looking feet but neuropathy so his feet hurt him all the time. I'd rather have ugly feet than painful feet.

I'm going for a pedicure tomorrow or Friday, so they'll be perfect soon.

@EatWell. I have a hammer toe - the middle toe on my right foot. I get some relief from a Hammer Toe Gel Cushion that i got at my local CVS. Ordered more on line in case this wears out. (The CVS part number on line is 789270. On sale right now for $4.87 each Plus S/H). Not sure that it will ever "cure" the hammer toe, but it sure makes things a lot more comfortable. Check out the foot care section at your local drug store. Mine is CVS brand, however, not sure if other stores have their own similar brand. Good luck!

I'm with you @nana59, my feet were OK until I ended up with an autoimmune arthritis that left my poor toes a mess. I envy folks with nice straight toes!

@Gram W wrote:Both of my inside toes are longer than their neighbor the big toe. My feet live for weather when I can wear open toe shoes. My right foot is a 7.5 and my left foot is an 8. These 2 things make it difficult to buy closed shoes and boots that accommodate my needs. I put a half insert in my right shoe to help take up space and help the fit. All toes are happy today because they are " free" until the first snow fall in October.
I can relate @Gram W, my left foot is a 9 and my right a 7! For a long time I had to buy 2 pair of shoes. Now I just add inserts and in the warmer months wear open toe shoes like you.

Mine aren't exactly gorgeous but we are all different and I show my toes freely with no shame. I had hammer toe surgery on four toes on one foot and there are still (after over 20 years) scars running down the top and they don't bend - but they don't hurt so that's fine. My toes are long and at one time double jointed so that I could bend them back at the top joint. I could also pick up things with them and even write with my feet (don't know why or how I discovered it). I didn't have the usual type of hammer toes where they hump or overlap - they just got inflamed, swollen and I couldn't wear shoes at times or even walk normally. I keep the toes polished and they look ok but I would never shy away from sandals because of it. I see many women with nice feet who don't take care of them and that is far worse looking.
