I called yesterday that the arrogant guy told me that UPS is so busy they haven't scanned the package, but you will get it by or on Thursday.  I called again this morning and the "robot" I spoke with said it is still on its way to UPS....seriously UPS will come and pick up the package and it doesn't take 3 days to get to a UPS store after that she just kept repeating herself then hung up on me.  SO I commented on a blog a little bit ago and someone called me to see if she could help but when I simply asked WHY hasn't it left your facility yet she just kept saying well it wasn't a guaranteed delivery item for Christmas, I said I realize that but why has it been sitting there for 3 days and nothing??  She started acting like a robot and repeating herself THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME????  I hope people wanting to sell their items on QVC will really look into their customer service, I have always had good luck but this really is horrible.  I got my hopes up and didn't purchase other gifts because I had hope it would be here shortly since the label was printed on the 22nd, even more frustrating to be lied to and hung up on!!

 

 


I understand your frustration

what customer service, no matter the company, seems to not realize is that all people want to be, in a situation like this, is HEARD...........the customer want's to be heard, they want their concerns/complaint acknowledged, validated and then told an honest answer...........customers, in situations like this, aren't looking to be placated, they are looking for honesty and acknowledgment on their situation...............................raven

I haven't read all the replies but I too have had horrible delivery this year on a few items.

 

Actually one item I ordered on 12/6/15 from Kohls has yet to be delivered and each day the tracking is updated to the next day after 3 PM...I ordered something from Walmart on 12/6 and it was delivered the day after Christmas...

 

I ordered another item from Overstock on 12/9 and that too arrived the day after Christmas. I spoke to somebody on 12/23 and they told me that it was guaranteed to be delivered by 12/24 as that facility does not do their scanning until the item is delivered (I was like ummm okay....) and when I called again on 12/24 after the mail arrived..the CS person I spoke too..was very apologetic over the info that I was told and did give me a $50 credit. I said I wasn't calling for that reason but basically just to complain and find somebody to listen to me about being told a basic lie just to get me off the phone.

 

Only one was a item that was somebody's primary Christmas  Gift..and that is the one that still isn't delvered. 

 

All these items have one thing in common - they were turned over to the USPS for the final leg to be delivered.

 

To the poster who ordered something on 12/18..while it wasn't guaranteed..it was a reasonable expectation that it would be delivered. I ordered a couple last minute items from Amazon and didn't care whether they arrived in time or not..and they did..! 

 

Raven you are absolutely correct in the statement that customers just want to be heard..that is exactly what I told the CS at Overstock. I wasn't looking for anything other than for somebody to listen...in this case I was guaranteed the item would be delivered by 12/23 or 12/24..since my mail had already been delivered for 12/23 I was safe in guessing it would not arrive that day..and I was guranteed it would be there on 12/24..When I pointed out the tracking has the package in NJ..she told me that this facility does not update their tracking until the package was delivered..ummmm lol..  Tell me the truth do not make up some story...

The Q's customer service is the best I have found, they have always gone the extra mile if I had any issue's....The other "channels" not so much ...Everything this year was slower this year, I do agree that once anything makes the switch to USPS that is always a huge issue...

I usually request the deer when a thread has gone on so long and the same thing over and over and over, for me it's like a blank stare with a really? added in.

Sorry to read about so many complaints with QVC customer service. I have always found them polite and friendly the few times I have called them. Everything I have ordered from QVC has always arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They do a wonderful job packing their merchandise. Maybe some of you have had a bad attitude toward the people at customer service which may be the reason you didn't get the customer service you expected. If you are nice to people they will be nice to you. Happy New Year everyone.Smiley Happy

I am nice to the CS people, and in turn, they're polite with me.

 

But that doesn't mean they don't get things wrong.  Almost every time I've had to return something due to a quality issue on their part, I've called first to be sure I would get a full refund.  Each time, I've been assured that a note was being made in my account,and that I should mark the item as defective on my return paperwork.

Well...it went wrong again!  And now we're being charged so much more for our returns, so this was a $10 error on their part.  I did catch it, and called again today to set it right. Yes...the CS person was polite....but that isn't the point.  I was on hold for a very long time, on a day when I had no time to waste.
