Re: HONEY BEES REMOVAL QUESTION

I know that this is the time of year that we are tidying up our yards and gardens for summer.

However, please do not use roundup or any similar chemical. That compound is the number one killer of bees. And, studies are showing that it is extremely dangerous for humans.

We allow no chemicals on our property, if everyone could do that we would be doing more to repopulate the bees.

Re: HONEY BEES REMOVAL QUESTION

UPDATE -------------------

This morning we had the selected beekeeper over and he removed the nest, queen, bees, etc.   They are being relocated to a place where they can do their thing and, hopefully, reproduce and flourish.

I don't know if the queen bee is the only bee that reproduces ....... wait .....   there must be other females doing that job, correct?

Anyway, I just wanted all to know that I took their advice and no bees were killed in the removal process.

Yay for the bees!   Heart

Lets not forget the first flower of Spring....Dandelion.  Dandelions and other flowering "weeds" in some areas the only thing in bloom in the early spring.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.
