I'm guessing because it's being reported by the British Tabloids that it's not an American.  How about Colin Farrell.

Maybe it can be figured out by looking at the female actesses and how many of them 'dated' the same guy.  That would be a lead of sort.

Middle Aged - ususally means 40 to 65 years of age.  That would eliminate some suspects.
