I saw on MSN's homepage this morning that there were a record breaking 185k background checks done on Black Friday for gun purchases.  I see it's no longer on the home page.  I wonder if they removed it in light of this new shooting.

On our local noon news, they said there were 180+ killings in the city of St. Louis so far this year.  That is pathetic.

I don't understand what is going on.  Why are there so many of these active shooter situations lately?  People could always buy guns but there have been so many violent incidents lately.  I wonder why?
