HELP, Please.......I think my computer has a virus!!!!

I've been gone all afternoon and just got home. I left my computer on, and everything was fine with it when I left, but when I got home I found my entire computer screen blue with big letters warning me I may be unprotected and that I needed to download some spyware or something. Well, I do know what that means! That warning IS the virus!

I have no idea what to do, as I am computer illiterate. I have Malewarebytes and Spybot, along with Microsoft Securtiy Essentials already downloaded, but I cannot open them up or run them! I keep hearing a little popping noise on my computer, too!

Can someone please help me? I am surprised I can even get on the internet! I need to get rid of this virus right away. Thanks!
