My trainer (PE) asked me a pet question I could not answer and am hoping you kind ladies can help. Her 5 month old feral cat has begun to pee on her husband's clothing in the mornings when she is not let out by 5 a.m.! Because of long work shifts lately, both my trainer and her husband often do no hear the cat crying to be let out. Not to mention sleep deprivation if they had to get up at 5 a.m. every day, even if they heard the cat.
Some background: There is a cat door, but it must be shut at night because of critters in the neighborhood. They tried one of those collars that open and shut the cat door, but the cat won't tolerate the collar. They placed a litter box next to the door, but the cat won't use it.....
