I am on a health kick too now that I wear my FitBit Zip.

So I'm off now to do 90 minutes of HARD uphill climbing and running on the treadmill...then for dinner -

Cheese and sauerkraut pierogi with sweet onions braised in butter...with a dollop of sour cream.

Now that's a Buffalo NY gal....I can smell it a mile away! Sounds like I'm now in your neck of the woods terrier.....I relocated to WNY from Florida but never changed my nic here!!

Haha!

It's my small way of protesting all the corned beef and cabbage today.

My driveway is a few blocks north of the parade route and unfortunately drunks use our lawn and parking lot for their bathrooms today.

I have to get out of here before they come back up from the parade!

Ooops... I just realized I MISSED them...they must be home in a frozen, drunken stupor by now.

Hi alex! You will not believe it but I was just thinking about you last week and wondering how you are doing. I am having left overs from last nights Dinner out...Ribeye Oscar(crab-meat) and asparagus. I am putting a penne pasta in the oven for DH. Good to see ya!!

Hi cromie!!! (No, it's not a misspelling....it's what I used to call croemer, lol). Stop yourself with the Oscar explanation...I know it involves crab meat, you silly girl.

So I take it things are good if you went out for Ribeye Oscar and asparagus, you little devil. Sounds yum. Good to see you too; hope you're well!!

I like cromie...so good to see you...please don't be gone so long. Sorry about the Oscar thing...just making sure you knew...I should have known you would be no stranger to the term Oscar. Miss Ya!

Miss you too, girl! I'll take a big 'ole pile of crab meat over a bronzed statue any day {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Re: HELLO ALL...WHAT'S FOR DINNER?? It's Been a While...

Liver and onions at a family restaurant. I don't make it at home but this restaurant makes the best in the area. I'm susceptible to gout so eat it only 2 or 3 times a year; this happens to be the day.

I'll make corned beef and cabbage on Monday. Have to cook the cabbage separately since DH hates cooked cabbage. I love it. DH loves coleslaw; go figure.

Hi jan!! Have missed posting with you! What you call fun I call something else, lol! But it's been a while since I've posted and I didn't want Webbie to ban me....

Sweet lady you are making that dinner for DH. I'm no baker....someday we'll meet and you can teach me your tricks.

I wish you a bright Spring, my friend!

For us, squash casserole and stir fried peppers and onions.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I'll take a side of the onions......

Weird how some people love raw veggies and despise them cooked, and some love cooked but won't eat them raw. I agree on the "go figure"...

Enjoy Anika!

What kind of squash, gidget? Zucchini abounds here in summer....if summer ever gets here!
