I have hyacinths in the landscape by my front door. They smell sooo good. But, alas, I can't bring them in the house.........I get stuffed up immediately and get a headache!

If I try to have anything nice the **** jack rabbits just eat 'em.
Peonies are the prettiest, then, roses, then tulips

I only have a handful of hyacinth plants. Every spring when they bloom I snip the flowers, put them in a small jar and bring them in a room I spend time in just for the lovely fragrance. My favorite flowers are gardenias and peonies but the hyacinth always opens my spring season indoors with its aroma.

I LOVE hyacinths and was planning to get a couple in the next week or so. Just learned they are toxic to cats, so am now not sure what I'm going to do .... just love that fragrance!
