@DSD2

Same here. Ginger is a terrier hound mix rescued from the shelter in 2017. Our previous rescue was Wilma, my username here and pictured in my avatar. We had her from 2000-2016.

We have one Maine Coon who runs the house. All three of us are her faithful servants.

 Her birthday was yesterday. Katie is now nine years old.

We have 1 dog, Millie, we rescued about 2 years ago. She's 4 and was a challenge at first but is so smart and learned very quickly. She's a sweetheart. Our granddaughter moved in about a year ago and brought her dog with her who's 10 and very sweet.

My son and his family are on vacation right now so we are babysitting their dog who is 100 lbs and a goofy love bug.

Our house is very full right now but I love it.

We have 2 doggies and would love to get another one.  However, these 2 would not be happy with that decision.  They both would rather be only-dogs.

Both are rescues and both are very pampered.  I wish all dogs and cats out there were pampered.

same with my dog. In fact she's headed to the couch right now, where I'm petting the kitten, to make me stop. She would be in heaven if she were the only.
