@lolakimono  Good Sunday Morning! Ms Lola.  How goes it for you this beautiful sun-shining morning?

You and I are watching the same show on tv I'm betting - Sunday Morning on well, Sunday morning.  I just saw that same story on Mr Hockey still very much alive and skating at 94 years old!  WOW - what a guy, great 'stach too, eh?  LOVE stories like this, don't you?

Great story to send out to John too.  Hope he sees it.

@PINKdogWOOD

I had ambicious plans to go to Body Combat with my accountability partner.  However, I have a chilly cat stuffed inside my robe and he's been here for about two hours.  The temps are in the 30s this a.m., so I don't blame him.

I am also watching your program.  Love Elvis Costello too!

@lolakimono  Oh sure, blame the cat for not getting out there and working it.  AND your partner too!!!  That's funny!

It was 36 here at 715AM when I got up.  Hubby covered remaining large potted plants last night.  Good news, he'll do it again tonight but then we're warming up again for looks like at least 10 days.  I'm not complaining!!!!

@lolakimono

I copied that link and sent it to all of my hockey contacts. Thank you very much for thinking of me with this. I never would have seen this as I never watch any news other than Cable News.

From what I see from the way this man is skating, he is not even close to having to quit in the shape he is in right now. It is easy for me to see how players skate as they get older, myself included. The oldest player in my adult league quit playing when he was 82 and his skating was not even close to how strong this 94 year old mans legs appear to me on this video.

I think those guys that are paying his way for these "pickup games" had better put aside a lot more money. His playing days don't look to me like they will end any time soon.

Thank you so much for this link. Many of my hockey contacts e-mailed back to me that they hadn't seen it, and that it also gave them a lot of inspiration to "Keep On Skating and Playing the Game We All Love".

Awesome!Cat Happy

I think of my BF, who looks like someone set him on fire, when I put him in ice skates or roller skates.  I get concerned that he's going to fall to his death (think banana peels), and he isn't even trying to use a stick at the same time.

 I think it's amazing that at his age he's still doing what he loves, at a time when many have given it up for safety reasons.
