HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ON CASH BACK SITES??

I noticed it was mentioned here awhile back about so many purchases being declined.  I checked on mine and saw a few of mine were, too.

So what is everyone doing?  Are you just skipping the whole process or hoping for the best?

Which sites are you having the most luck with being paid?

Re: HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ON CASH BACK SITES??

I have always used, and am still using only Rakuten.

I don't shop much on QVC, though I am waiting for the next free shipping day to make a purchase.....if the item price isn't raised.

But I recently made several purchases from Macys and got 15% cash back, sale prices from their Family and friends and made $40 in Macys money.  I also shop The Container Store, Easy Spirit and others and do pretty well on Rakuten.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I haven't had any of my Mr. Rebates orders declined.  Deposits to Paypal are made like clockwork on the first of every month.

I'm not familiar with PayPal, @Kachina624 .  How do you get your money from them after they deposit?  Does it have to be a PayPal deposit?  Could it be a checking account?  TIA

Not at all, I get my rebates in a very timely fashion. I have come to realize some that are having difficulties maybe due to using divided payments, which I never use.

@tends2dogs   PayPal is the financial arm of eBay and is accepted by many merchants, including QVC, in lieu of credit card payment.  Mr. Rebates will either deposit in your PayPal account or send you a check.  I get my money by spending it.

I use Rakuten and Mr Rebates and I like MR much better.  I also get mine deposited every month to my paypal account, with Rakuten it's every 3 months and I always get less than what is in my account.

Most all of my recent Qvc rebates from TopCashBack were declined but I have since gotten them by placing claims for them through their CS section. Yes, it was a pita but I got my money anyway. I'm not giving up on any cash back which I can get especially now.

Re: HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ON CASH BACK SITES??

Hey @tends2dogs. You may have seen where I read another thread about this subject and then went and checked my TopCashback account. If I recall correctly, all my purchases starting on 3/1/22 had been declined...a total of twenty purchases!

I contacted TCB via email and they said they were aware of the problem and working on it. Within three or so days the purchases were back to correctly showing as pending. It was some kind of glitch on QVC's part but, as far as I can see, has been fixed.

I've now not used any cash back sites for awhile as I've not made a purchase from QVC since 4/21....an absolute eternity as compared to my normal shopping frequency with them. But, as of late, they've been getting on my last nerve. 😫

Re: HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ON CASH BACK SITES??

I'm a more "casual" user of cash back sites.  I don't follow them closely.  I'm happy to receive this "free" money, whenever I get it.  I only use MrRebates.
