Re: HAS ANYONE ELSE RECEIVED THEIR NEW SOCIAL SECURITY CARD???

I forgot to type that you have to have set up an account with Medicare to receive the emails.  I don't know how to edit here.

I received mine a month ago only because I turn 65 in August AND, I took early Social Security.

I did not realize that I did not have to sign up for Medicare because of taking early S.S.

@Diamonds22 New SS cards are NOT being issued. New Medicare cards are.

@Gooday  I'm confused. Did you turn 65 in August 2017 or will you be 65 in August 2018?

My husband also started his social security at 62.  He still had to apply for Medicare Part B.  Almost everyone gets Medicare Part A.  One can apply for Medicare Part B three months before their 65 birthday.
