Hey Croemey Me Homey!

Been too long!  Hope all is well girlfriend.  You are missed.

Don't know if it was this thread about The Deer's Cry (song), but my favorite of that is done by Rita Conolly.

Happy Belated St. Patrick's Day to you too!

It was fun......love hearing what everyone ordered or didn't order, and now going back to make some purchases.

I'm doing just ok.....have had some setbacks with my eyes.....swelling behind each eye and inflammation to go along with it.  Am taking drops for this that are very costly.  Yesterday I picked up one prescription of the drops......it went from $104 up to $114 since I ordered it the last time.  That is what I have to pay....do have prescription coverage.....  Sometimes if they have the drops from the reps in the office, they will give me a couple of them.....but they are smaller than what I get when I purchase them......  These are such little bottles.....for so much $$$$.

Still getting the treatments every other week.  And still have the side affects from it.  Nothing different from that.  Due for full body Pet scan in a couple weeks.  Get one every 6 months now.

Ok, enough of that stuff.

Re: HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE......

@ShowMeHello, Sorry to hear that you are batteling cancer, I pray you win and that is the fight is easy for you. Yes I did make a haul with the irish stuff. I forgot to say I did order a bottle if inis too. That was the first thing I bought. And then it sold out and then came back in and I ordered another bottle cause I just love how it smells. I cant controll myself with this Ireland stuff I just want it all. I have several of their sweaters too. I am glad the sweaters offer you comfort during this difficult time.the items I did order were must haves for me and now I am going back and putting in my saved list all the items I would like to have and maybe I will pick something else out. I take advantage of their easy pay and have to fiqure out how much per month the payments will be. Then after I get these items paid for I may come back and add more. LOL But yes I am taking a chance that they may sell out so if it  is something that I have to have then I will order it. My dream is to go to Ireland some day, but I would just love to live there. I think it would be a nice simple place to retire. I always tell my husband that if something happens to him and I am left a widow, I am going to go to Ireland and die there!!

Re: HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE......

@DarlingDino.......Yes, I have metastatic melanoma....and have been battling it for over 2 years now.  My oncologist has told me I will have to be on these treatments the rest of my life unless they come out with something else.  Believe me, it has been difficult....no picnic.  Just about the time I am feeling kind of normal, it is time for another treatment...then I'm down for a few days......  Have to pace myself.  And rest when I can......

I love the Inis fragrance too.  But since I don't go out a lot, I don't use fragrances very much.  Keep them in the linen closet so they stay nice.  (no heat and no light)

A few years ago my sister went to Ireland and she loved it.  When she was there she did get quite a few Belleek pieces for me.....and I had a Belleek Christmas that year.  And since then she has added to it.  A few years ago I purchased the castle lamp and have it on a small chest in my dining area.  Love it.  And I think it was last year when they offered the covered casserole dish, I ordered that.  Love it.  Nice to have a lid to cover when putting it in the fridge.  Do like to bake my tuna casserole in it.

Hope you do get to go to Ireland some day.....You would go crazy there.....  Talk about credit card build up......LOL

Re: HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE......

@ShowMeHello, Wow sorry to hear you have to take treatments for the rest of your life. Is that radiation treatments or is that chemo treatments? How often do you have to get them? That has to be hard on you to go through, wow I cant imagine someone having to keep those going for ever. What does metastatic mean? I dont really go anywhere either ( talking about the prefume inis) I go shopping and to see my mom, she is a nursing home with dementia, but that is about it.  I still like to spray prefume cause it makes me feel good. I love smelling a good scent that lifts my spirits. Did you see the waterford difussor set? Expensive at 100 dollars for that so I did not get that. But I am still ordering things. I just ordered the art picture of the castle, I have wanted that for a while now, it is always sold out.  I was reading reviews and a lot of the people who picked up this print got it in the quiet man version, I wonder what that looks like? Since most picked that one. I just ordered the rose pictcher by belleek it is on clearance and I have  the other one for spring I got as an as is item last year. It had nothing wrong with it at all.  I noticed after st patricks day alot of items end up as is and I am always checking for stuff on there cause people send a lot back and it goes cheap. I got the belleek covered baker too and I got it as is. I have not used it yet, but have it displayed in my kitchen, I just cant put a piece of belleek in the oven!!! LOL call me crazy but I just cant. I will use the pitchers for flower though,  and yes I would go nuts if I went to Ireland and spend all kinds of money!!  I just love the craftmanship of the items and it seems we are losing that here in the USA, even our clothes have become so cheap and generic, I always look on ebay for older clothes in good conditon cause it is better made then the cheap stuff they sell today. Pride in ones work and craft is going by the wayside here in the USa and it shows in the products that are being produced.
