Are you this much fun at Christmas, also? Do you get grouchy over those who have a Christmas tree?

Lighten up. Eggs most certainly do have a lot to do with Easter, they are a global symbol of new life.

As for the word Easter, it comes from Eostre or Ostara, which predates Easter.

We took this picture a few years ago when we stopped in Groom, Texas. It's right off the highway. If you ever get a chance, stop and see this place. It has many sculptures as well as a chapel. A site that will get you in touch with your spiritual side even if you're not religious.
