Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY ❤️

@catwoman48 I was at the same concert to see George with Ravi Shanker in the mid 1970s.  I never did see Ringo so I got to see half of the Beatles. Smiley Happy

Paul is my all time favorite Beatle. It's amazing how at 81 he still sounds awesome.

@Pearlee  As you know,I got to meet Sir Paul & Linda. It was in July of 1975.We were on the same plane out of Kennedy Airport, going to London. We rode on the same shuttle that went from the terminal to the plane. That was clearly the most exciting few minutes of my life. He was sweet & kind & signed autographs!! I still have mine!!

The next time I saw Paul was 4 years ago in 2018.My son took us to his concert. The show was awesome.

  ROCK ON PAUL 🎸 🎤 !!

@NicksmomESQ  Thanks for posting. I knew someone here had been on the same plane as Paul and Linda and met them but couldn't remember who. I am SO jealous! What an experience!

Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY ❤️

Saw them in 1965 at Public Hall in Cleveland; then at the old Cleveland Stadium in 1966; where we ran onto the field (in the mud) and got up to the stage and starred at them until the police dragged us off.  Great memories! Saw Paul with Wings a couple of times. Was supposed to see George, but the concert was canceled because of the weather.  Bummer.

Saw him at Shea Stadium last year for the very first time, on his "65th Anniversary" tour...thrilling memory for a lifetime. Still "had it"....and I always say, then, days away from turning 80, he was still, undisputably, the coolest dude in the room.

@amyb totally agree !  The times I've seen him in concert are still the most thrilling memories !   National treasure ...YES!

Certainly a British national treasure.

Since he does not hold American citizenship, I don't think Americans can claim him as a national treasure.
