May Queen Elizabeth have the sort of celebration she desires today and quite a few more years before her! Of course, I hope she has good health and strength and that she regains her mobility. If not, then all I can wish is an acceptance of whatever is her fate.
How exciting it must be for her to look forward to her Platinum Jubilee.

It might be the very last birthday you have with her. Bloody awful!!!!!!!!
Oh please, skip the "bloody awful".
If the queen was any sort of role model at all, she would have given them the "do your duty" speech many, many times. She would expect Harry to honor his commitment to the Invictus games.
When she was younger, the queen went off travelling and left Charles alone with nannies (he was just a toddler) and didn't see her own child for six months. I doubt she feels the least bit slighted by Harry honoring his commitments.

Yes, but I'm all in favor of recycling when possible.

Congratulations to the Queen!!! Around 1953, to celebrate her coronation, Madam Alexander doll company created a Queen Elizabeth doll for the occasion. I was very young at the time but my mother loved the Madam Alexander dolls and bought one for me. I couldn't play with it though, only look!!!!! I still have the doll and display it on a bureau in my room. It is in great condition and I cherish it.

@Tinkrbl44 My comment that you referenced was from last year and Harry not staying an extra day after his grandfather's funeral. I have not made any comments about her birthday this year and his attending at the Invictus games.
It's a shame you didn't read the date of my comment. Your response had nothing to do with my comment!

Newsflash! Parenting was much different 70+years ago when Charles was little.

Well it would be a refreshing change, I'm sure....
