I'm sorry all the flowers in the world are meaningless when your grandson who you have not seen in over a year could have stayed an extra day to spend time with you on your birthday especially since losing your husband and being 95 years of age. It might be the very last birthday you have with her. Bloody awful!!!!!!!!

What would you buy an older woman like the queen? Most of my elderly relatives did not want any presents or anymore useless stuff. Flowers and a handmade card are exactly what I received for my recent birthday and I still have it all on display.

Meghan Markle and Archie Have Been in Touch with the Queen

"Meghan spoke with Harry before his grandfather's funeral," a source tells People. "Meghan and Archie also spoke with the Queen earlier this week."

Prior to Harry's return home, a source also told the outlet that "Meghan and Harry have been in touch every day. She knows the trip to England has been difficult for Harry. He didn't want to leave Meghan and Archie alone. Meghan has insisted to him every day though that they are fine. She hasn't wanted him to worry."

The same source indicated that the Queen has been entirely understanding of Meghan not being able to attend Philip's funeral, saying "Meghan said attending or not attending Prince Philip's funeral isn't going to change her relationship with the Queen. She said the Queen understands her absence and would want her to stay safe and healthy for the baby. Meghan said this is the opportune time for [Harry] to mend his relationship with his brother and his dad. She doesn't need to be there for that." So happy to know Meghan and the Queen have remained close through all this!

@just bee. Unfortunately I can't see anything on my phone about this other than a little icon and what's written about a corgi photo frame but yes!! Much better than flowers! How many gardens of thousands of flowers does this woman own anyway! 🙄

Whatever Harry and Meghan gave to the Queen on her birthday was, I'm sure, accepted wholeheartedly and graciously by the Queen.

None of the biddies here know what goes on in private amongst the families. All this speculation is in such poor taste. I'm sure the Queen wouldn't give them the time of day for speaking about her family like that.
