H*ll On Wheels on AMC - SPOILERS POSSIBLE

Anybody watching this? This Friday is the last show of the season. Will there be a Season 5? We just started getting into this show (caught up the first 3 seasons on Netflix).

Swede!!!{#emotions_dlg.blink}{#emotions_dlg.ohmy} (I think Heyerdahl is the best actor of them all.)

The last two episodes are this Saturday and next Saturday. So far, this season has been a disappointment. They don't really seem to have a grasp on the plot or characters. I really liked seasons 1 and 2, but I think they last the plot halfway through season 3.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

adelle: Thanks - I thought it was next Friday. Catching up on some other shows that we didn't watch originally.

I agree that this season was ""off the rails"" so to speak. I really don't like the storyline line with Bohanan and Naomi.

I feel bad for Eva.

Yes there is another season...actually 2 from what we are reading but they are going to split the shows up into 2 years with only 7 episodes per year...apparently all filmed at one time. It gets great ratings and yet they decided next year is it.

Heya croemer: Thanks. We've been doing ""marathons"" of certain shows and this is one of them. Life gets in the way sometimes.

I would have gone bonkers waiting each week for Breaking Bad.

One of the downfalls of catching up on prior seasons - you get spoiled not having to wait each week.

Re: H*ll On Wheels on AMC - SPOILERS POSSIBLE

This is one of the few current series that both hubby and I equally enjoy. I cannot understand why it will be cancelled after just one more season (yes, split in two, as croemer said). There is a lot of potential for much more character development and historical-based story lines.

I do hope AMC and Directv iron out their disputes soon. We also watch TURN and TWD on this channel.

Cakers, marathon watching is the BEST, imo, when possible! I like to record my favorites and watch at least 2-3 episodes at a time. I lose nuances week-to-week, with so much other stuff going on to keep up with.

I wonder if HOW is based on a book? Could that be why it is wrapping up so soon? I'll hate to see it go...

Hi WaJa: We've been so out of the loop with many shows - lol. So we've been catching up on a few lately.

I agree you can lose the effect with some episodes, too, when seasons end.

Happens here all the time, too, Cakers. Hubby works various shifts -- lots of overtime, too. But I found it's best to catch up on our shows back-to-back. The seasons are so short now and the hiatuses are too long... Must be budgeting, and at least they do run the marathons before the new season premiers. Enjoy yourself!

I agree....loved the first two seasons, but this time around they seem to be looking for a focus!! I cannot stand the Swede's character - such an unlikable man!!! Hope he is done away with soon....
