~ Guardian Angels for Soldiers Pets ~

I just saw a segment on FOX News about this organization and it sounds wonderful. Many of our soldiers have pets with no one to care for them when they are deployed overseas. This organization take applications, screens folks carefully, and places the pets with someone who is willing to care for the pet for a year while the soldier is away. Then when the soldier comes home, the pet is given back .... this seems to be mostly dogs.

This sounds wonderful and if it weren't for my living situation, and some physical problems, I would love to do this. It's a way to help out our fighting men and women.
