Well, Punxtatawny Phil did not see his shadow this morning. He "came out"- and went back to bed.

Can you blame him? The sun wasn't up-cold with snow falling- smart animal. 

In the meantime, it's being reported that tulips are coming up in Boston, and crocus and daffodils are making an appearance further south.

It sounds like Phil has it all wrong, or does he?

What is the outlook in your area?

Not that it matters - but the report I just watched (TV) says he 'did' see his shadow so 6 more weeks of winter.

I have never seen a groundhog stand still long enough for me to see his shadow! They are lightning fast!

I think we always get about 6 more weeks of winter. It's best that we do, even if you don't like it

One year ,we had about 10 very warm days in March ,and it ruined our entire apple crop.  Seasons are  there for a purpose

The word  is out!  Punxatawny Phil DID see his shadow... once the sun came up! Poor little cute guy!

We haven't really had a winter yet so if there are 6 more weeks of it, it better start soon!
