Oh No! My husband and I were talking about him only a couple days ago. Last time we saw him was when American Pickers paid him a visit. Loved his show too..
RIP Dan..
How very sad these past few days..

Funny you should mention that man today. My husband needs to trim his beard and that's the first man I though of. It was either him or Santa Claus. But...I couldn't remember Dan Haggerty's name. Thanks. So sorry to hear he's passed too. My gosh.

He was 74. At the age where if cancer or heart disese does not take you, something else will. If you are fortunate enough to make it to age 70, count your blessings each day and get your ducks in a row...... for that day be your last. Harsh but true.

Is it my imagination, or does it seem that an inordinate number of famous and semi famous people have passes in the past 365 days?

That is very harsh indeed. Many in my family have lived to well into their upper 90s, with an uncle living to be 100. I'm a senior and certainly don't expect to "go" when I'm 70, or even at all in my 70s for that matter. For goodness sakes.

@SeaMaiden, I'm not challenging you on this, but since we're fast approaching this, I just wonder where this info comes from? Would you share it please? Maybe it's been that way in your family? I'm beginning to see more people we graduated with who we've lost just recently and now all these famous people, so I'd find that info interesting. Thanks. Oh yes, any one day can be anyone's last.
