I cannot even listen to SHE....it really, REALLY affects me. Charles Aznavour is beyond the best....he's this little short guy whom, I think, has been old his entire life and yet he is the epitome of s-e-xiness to me.

Yeah, She gets me, too. I just about melt when I hear him sing it.

Are you familiar with Edith Piaf? You probably are, but just in case you're not, you might want to read about her, Wiki would probably be enough. She might have been France's greatest female singer, ever! Anyway, she and Aznavour were lovers for years. Tragic, of course.

NOEL.......I know that Edith Piaf was a singer but have never heard her work......if it is not too much trouble, I would very much appreciate a link. ETA......I just read her bio on Wiki...Wow she had a horrible life. I have heard La Vie en Rose but I don't think by her. She has been dead for over 50 + years....and she was only 47.. Between his music and her life story I'm ready to curl up in a fetal position and s-u-c-k my thumb.
