When I am having a "down day" I always remind myself of all the things I am grateful for. Retirement is one of them although I had a rewarding career that I loved. Retirement was always the goal and I achieved it. Life is good.

I try to always have an attitude of gratitude.  I am thankful for so many things, I am grateful when my blood pressure is good, that I am able to get thru the day. And they had my favorite coffe in today YES!  Life is good I may not like everything, but life is good   Most of all I am grateful I do not want more anymore. I found since I quit wanting for more , things I have are so much better. Make sense?

Thank you for this thread. I try to remember to be grateful but sometimes when you get wrapped up in your own issues, you forget for a minute. I am grateful for my family, friends , church family (forum ladies) and a job that I still enjoy.

Thank you lord for my many blessings.
