Grantchester aired for the first time this week. Taking place in the 50s, it's the story of a small town Vicar who becomes involved in mysteries.

Did anyone see it? I loved it, it has a different vibe than most English mysteries, and it helps that this time the main character is gorgeous {#emotions_dlg.devil2}

Hi Noel,

I watched it and thought it was good. I like the lead character as well. Smile

I enjoyed it and, yes, it doesn't hurt that the lead character is very good-looking. I appreciated tbe fact that the mystery was self-contained in the hour...no part one, two, three etc. that involve watching every week to see what happens next. The only program I'll do that for is Downton Abbey.

Ohhhhhhh, I missed it. I will keep an eye out for it though. Not a fan of the Downton Abbey series. Would like something else. Thanks for sharing. Smile

I did, too! And that it wasn't an hour and a half, causing overlap.

Hi LR Smile

PBS usually replays those shows and sometimes offers them online, also.

I watched and liked it, however, I dislike some of the odd facial expressions he makes. They're what make Jenny McCarthy unattractive, those ugly facial contortions.
