It's been so darn hot for the last few weeks, it's invigorating to see water spewing out of a fountain --- especially at the Ronald Reagan Library. Beautiful visual. I'm sure it's recycled water. There are constant floods in the streets - all over the Los Angeles area - due to all the "old" underground pipes exploding --- that's a much more serious problem.

Our infrastructure definitely needs to be updated and re-engineered, kivah. We've become a third world country when it comes to our infrastructure.

@kivah, So nice to see you posting.  Many of us were worried about you after you posted how you felt ill when the weather was so warm last week.

Reclaimed water or not, it seems really insensitive to what many are going through.  I am sure there are other lovely places that could have been used.

No, not insensitive.  Those of us who are "going through" it know what's up.

It was merely another cheap shot at CA.

OK if that is what you think, as always you must speak for all Californians.

However perception is everything, thus how the rest of the country perceive the CA water issues is being made by a lavish water fountain in the background.

Noel may not be speaking for all Californians, but this one agrees with her.

Good night everyone.  It's already a new day (at least it is in my time zone), & a chance for a fresh start.

Those  recycling fountains stink and are very gross especially in hot weather...  Bet those glamorous CNN correspondents get sick to their stomachs.  Poor little things.
