The last time I flew was in 1977, one way flight to Los Angeles, drove back home to St. Louis with the friend I flew there to see (that was the plan, 2 day trip)  I was very afraid to fly then but I finally agreed. So another friend convinced me to fly to Virgina Beach Virgina on last Wednesday returning Sunday 11/13.  I was very nervous but I DID IT !!   We flew to SW airlines to Baltimore then on to Norfolk and drove to Virginia beach. We left Norfolk, flew to Orlando and back to St. Louis so I had 4 flights. I had a great time, went to Richmond Va, Williamsburg to see the Yankee candle factory, thru tunnels of Chesapeake bay. Stayed in a lovely hotel in a suite on the 16th floor overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I also took a picture in front of the QVC sign at the call center in VA beach. To all who live in that area, what a beautiful place to go for a vacation !     I just may fly again !!

Thanks for all of  the positive feedback. I retired in April of this year from 40 years of a nursing career so this is the beginning of living the life of retirement.  I think a cruise is in my future as well since I have never done that .  If anyone out there is retiring soon, enjoy it.  !!
