Re: Got my second Pfizer vaccine yesterday

Just adding my 2 cents worth here.  I got the 1st Pfizer shot and had no symptoms at all except for a sore arm, which lasted about 2 days.  Tylenol helped!  But I had the shot in my non-dominant arm (left) which was a mistake for me.  I didn't take into account I sleep on my left side.  For 2 nights it was rather uncomfortable.  Next time, I'll get the shot in my right arm!  Actually, it makes more sense I guess, since I do use it more and they say to exercise the arm as much as possible.

Man plans. God laughs.

Re: Got my second Pfizer vaccine yesterday

I had my first Pfizer shot yesterday and my arm is sore.   However, I am relieved to finally get the vaccine after trying for awhile to get the appointment.  It was all very organized and everyone caring and professional at the vaccination site.

Re: Got my second Pfizer vaccine yesterday

I got Moderna two weeks ago in left arm and it is still sore. The first two days I could not lift my arm higher than waist. Heating pad and Tylenol did not help. I try to lift a 5 lb weight several times a day plus I do yoga 3 times a week. Injection location was high on left shoulder in the deltoid muscle. I have had pain in armpit stretching to left neck/ear and clavicle and slowly getting better. Hot shower on the left shoulder helps. Debating if I should have second injection in right arm. My upper arm throbbed for several days. No chills or fever or other body aches. Sleeping is difficult while trying to support the left shoulder. I had a similar reaction to the first of two shingles injection three years ago.
