I think the last time gas was under $3 in California I was in middle school. Yes, I'm joking but it does feel that way 

Most recently it was 4.79 in CA.

Same station down to 2.71 today.  At least it's going in the right direction.

My husband got gas locally in Lower Westchester NY and it was $2.99 per galllon.

$2.699 - NOLA suburb. Not necessarily the cheapest in the area, just the closest to me.

Update on crazy gas price fluctuations...... At the same above gas station, I noticed while driving to work this morning gas was priced at $2.72 a gallon.  Coming home 9 hours later it was up to $3.19.  I wonder what caused the price jump.  🤷
