Well .... I survived. Actually didn't feel a thing.
Mt. Sinai Hospital has the greatest staff. Really nice people! Got all my questions and concerns answered / addressed.
Back in three weeks for #2.

I had my second shot almost 3 weeks ago. My arm hurt for a couple of days. No sickness at all from either shot.

Quite a few years ago, my doc's asst suggested I exercise after a flu shot to relieve / eliminate ache.
I had some 3 lb weights that I used when I broke my arm even more years ago ... just a couple of "lifts" with the weight helped after flu shots.
The "Vaxxer" suggested the same thing today - and I still have the weights. I'm right handed and had the shot in my right arm hoping that normal right arm use prevents issues. And --- take Tylenol or lightly apply ice pack.

What they did at Mt. Sinai - rooms were set aside where we were taken after shot. We were checked in with the time - and when the 15 minutes were up - they came to check on us ... and then took us to the nurse who made the followup appt for #2.
There was an allergist on duty just in case anyone had any adverse reaction.
Gotta tell you - before and after shots - they were very professional, and very organized.
