Well this "northerner" isn't jealous and has no desire to live in the south.  Yup, it's gonna be -14 tonight and barely break zero tomorrow.  It's been snowing on and off for three days.  It's called winter...something we embrace.

No one here would think twice about a temp swing from 57 to 75 in one day.  Most would be wearing the same thing in either temp.

Easy peasy.   They make things called "jackets".   You put them on,  you take them off.   QVC even sells them.   Get yourself one.

@Kachina624@SeaMaiden was wearing them.  Not enough ice for grips to dig into!

@AKgirl2 @151949 @SeaMaiden  Sorry,  my comment was directed at 151949, who is on her way to sewing club.

Am enjoying today here in Western PA.  It is 65 degrees and breezy.  I can just imagine where the temperature would be if the sun was out and a little less windy.  It is a nice change of pace from our normal temperature which I am sure will return soon.

Yesterday morning, even though the temps were in low 40s in the early morning there was a lot of black ice on the roads causing communters all sorts of problems and fender benders. Many schools were on 2 hour delay.  Weather folks had a term for it....where the road surfaces are much colder then air temp and the light early morning rain froze on contact.
